I have to work tomorrow. It's the first time (oddly enough, on a Sunday) that I've worked on this day in ten years. It's probably going to be just like yesterday, which in a way, is good.

In lieu of posting anything prolific or profound since nothing any one person could say could sum up anything about what this day originally meant, what it's become over time, and what it's perceived to be, I'd rather just ask one thing of you all. It's something we often forget to do, as simple as it sounds, but, if only for today, do it.
