It's over. (Sopranos)

So, the last episode of The Sopranos just ended.
I liked it. My mother, not so much.

Mom: So... that's it?!
Me: Yep. Very Seinfeld-like.
Mom: I can't believe it ended that way. ... I thought for sure, with everyone looking so suspicious...
Me: everyone was just waiting for Tony to get shot... They were showing how they just lived 'normal lives'... the cub scout troop, the couple, focusing on everyday people...
Mom: They don't show what happens to them, we don't know...
Me: That's life, you don't know what's gonna happen.
Mom: I couldn't live like that, not knowing...
Me: Then just don't leave the house.

I think that pretty much sums it up.

I do wonder, though, what would have happened had my father not gotten into the argument with the contractor that built the Soprano's house - since he was going to buy it until that happened.

You just don't know.
And that's the best part. Of all of it.
