While looking up some information about the Battle of the Network Stars, I came across some new/in development TV shows some of you may find interesting. Among them:

Buffy the Animated Series: This series is in development at Fox Studios by Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly) and Jeph Loeb (writer and producer of Smallville).

There is currently no concrete information on which network will air the show or when we can expect to see it.

Untitled Boreanaz/Kelly Project: For Sept. 2005: This new Drama, based on the life of undercover hit man Jack Ballantine, a cop who goes undercover in the world of murder for hire, has received a script commitment from the ABC.

Ballantine, a long-time member of the Phoenix Police Department, spent years doing deep cover work as a mob hit man and motorcycle gang member among other dangerous assignments.

3 Lbs.: For Spet. 2005: CBS has given a cast-contingent order to the medical drama "3 Lbs."

"3 Lbs." revolves around brain surgeons. Peter Ocko, a "Boston Legal" producer, wrote the script.

I can only imagine the title refers to the weight of the brain, or something.

Practical Magic aka Sudbury: CBS POssible mid-season replacement.
Antonia and her little sister Kylie learn that they and all the family are witches: Their mother Sally and her sister Gillian plus Sally and Gillian's Aunts Jet and Frances. Antonia's father died 10 years ago, and the family is still having trouble with the fact that he died. Antonia doesn't fit in at school or elsewhere. She does however meet a guy whom she befriends, although he's a bit strange himself. Gillian has problems of her own, as the man she was with, turns up dead in a motel room. And the police officer investigating has an eye for Sally, and she for him, but she's not ready for dating yet.

NY70: For NBC Sept. 2005: Rand Ravich's 1970s cop drama, now dubbed "NY-70." The network has also secured television and feature director Clark Johnson to helm the pilot. Actor Bobby Cannavale is in the lead role.

Based on the same source events as the Oscar-winning film "The French Connection," "NY-70" documents the real-life experiences of Big Apple detectives Sonny Grosso and Eddie Egan. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the drama had received a cast contingent pilot order, which has now been lifted.

Cannavale will play the character based on Grosso. Ravich, who wrote the pilot, is executive producing along with Grosso, Larry Jacobson and Far Shariat.

and From Fox; one I personally think is hysterical:
Crazy Lawyers: For Sept. 2005: Fox has given a thumbs-up to "House of Payne," from writer-producers Bill Chais ("The Practice") and Jeff Rake ("Boston Legal").

"House of Payne" centers on a successful lawyer who has a nervous breakdown and teams up with a mentally disturbed lawyer with an anger problem. (Gee! Sounds like someone I know! :)) Together, the two represent people with all kinds of issues, not just legal ones.

Now look lady. I'm not even a lawyer yet. And I am working on the anger management thing. Sheesh. "Mentally disturbed" you wound me.

Not YOU. Silly!
You, that has a shrine to me in your living room, is related to someone that got her tongue stuck to a slide, and who lives with a Metal Pig...
on second thought....

Perhaps he is also "in progress." Maybe the plan is for Stamos to get reeeealllly fat, and play both parts.
