interesting day so far....

iamlachesis(from email I wrote to some lists earlier...)
on this date:
Four years ago today,
I said the words that have made my life oh-so interesting ever since....
"So, when are you going to ask me out??"
*grin*
In those four years,
we've survived living together for two and a half of them,
(and scared the hell out of everyone who thought we were breaking up when i moved!)
we've seen each other reallyreallyreallyreally drunk,
we've had one "big" fight (over who was going to eat dinner that night),
we've met the family,
we've become part of other families, gaining a brother, sister, father, and lots of crazy cousins in the process,
we've become more violent (me) and more compassionate (him),
and been to a lot of movies, parties, and stuff like that with all of our wonderful friends.
R and M, thanks for convincing me to move to Boston, and that "we'd make a cute couple". I love you guys.

I just got a camcorder in the mail!!!
from my father.....
I'm confused...

it's a JVC Compact VHS (handheld)
with a tripod...

oh - there's a note...
"when you were here for xmas you seemed to need a camcorder, so we decided to give you this one..."
????
my father is getting stranger and stranger in his old age...
"i seemed to need one"???
*boggle*
(covered in peanuts now)
